Instrument for measuring the thermal conductivity factor [FOX200/300]
The FOX200 instrument can be used to measure apparent thermal conductivity of thermal insulation materials. It was designed according to the ASTM C518-04 “Standard Test Method for Steady – State Thermal Transmission Properties by Means of the Heat Flow Meter Apparatus”. |
|
The instrument is calibrated using the NIST SRM 1450b (Standard Reference Material of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the special high accuracy (0.5%) EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) NIST Standard. The calibrations were done with a 25 oC ή 20 oC temperature difference and are saved in instrument’s memory.
