Instrument for measuring the thermal conductivity factor [FOX200/300]

The FOX200 instrument can be used to measure apparent thermal conductivity of thermal insulation materials. It was designed according to the ASTM C518-04 “Standard Test Method for Steady – State Thermal Transmission Properties by Means of the Heat Flow Meter Apparatus”.

The instrument is calibrated using the NIST SRM 1450b (Standard Reference Material of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the special high accuracy (0.5%) EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) NIST Standard. The calibrations were done with a 25 oC ή 20 oC temperature difference and are saved in instrument’s memory.

Wintherm 32 Software for connection the FOX200 to a PC

The software can manage the operation of the instrument from a PC, record the results in a file and can be programmed to execute experiments in a big range of temperatures for the same sample.
